Agnes and Pete’s Diy Wedding in Bordeaux, France

DIY Wedding Bordeaux

This one was a hot one, a really hot one! Normally the temperature in Bordeaux at this time of the year is just under 30 degrees but, we had 35 and it was absolutely boiling! Although, it didn’t stop us from having a great day. We were just a bit sweaty, haha!

The first thing that really impressed me was what a great bunch of friends Agnes and Pete have. Everyone was very involved in organising and decorating, what a great team effort. The wedding took place in the back garden of Agnes’ parents. There were lots of cool wedding games that I had never seen before, the guests had a good go at them and those were one of my favourite moments.

Agnes and Pete story was really like a movie. Agnes had many hip surgeries and they were unsure if she would be able to walk down the aisle. The more I got to know them the more magic I could see and what they had been through that made this wedding like a fairytale. Pete’s speech had everyone in tears. This guy has a heart of gold and when you meet people like them, you can see that anything is possible. I’m so glad this incredible journey of Agnes and Pete had such a happy ending (or shall I say beginning). Agnes looked stunning in her wedding dress from Lyn Ashworth England and wearing the classic Manolo Blahnik shoes!

Other suppliers who helped to make the day happen: Jazz et Cie for music, Restaurant du Château (Jarnac) for food and Loca Chapiteau for tent.

Here are some of my favourite moments from this DIY wedding in Bordeaux, enjoy!
