How to take better photos

Hello! Thanks for stopping by. If you are reading this, you are probably a camera enthusiast who wants to improve their photography. As a wedding photographer with some extra time on my hands, I thought I would share some of my tips and trick with my followers. I am sure a lot of you are bored out of your minds so hopefully this clip, or actually two clips, will give you something to do. There won’t be much to read here as I really wanted put all the information in the videos, so the process of learning is more exciting.

First, we will start with my favourite iPhone editing apps. If you want your photos to look better, this is a must. Some people spend ages on editing. I used to do that too but, now I focus on getting a great image in the first place, so editing won’t take longer than a minute. I really like to straighten my images, it’s all about getting those lines straight! I correct the white balance and remove unwanted objects that can distract the viewer. Ok, we have all the apps we need. Now let’s look into getting some new camera skills. In the second video I share the most important principals to get that great image. I talk about light, composition and the moment. These are 3 key things to look for if you really want to improve your photography. Whether you own a cool camera or you are just taking photos on your phone, the same rules apply!

In many cases you won’t be able to take photos by yourself and will need a professional photographer. But at the same time there are so many occasions for you to take a better image, even just with your phone, to capture something cool. So why not learn the basics? It could be photos from your holidays, fun moments of your family or even selfies.
