Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography Nomination

Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography Nomination

All photographers who have been shooting long enough are familiar with the Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography competition. One of the biggest acknowledgements in the industry. Years ago, when I started my adventure with wedding photography, I  never would have dreamt about anything like it. I remember admiring the stunning photos of those who had won and hoped that one day my photography would reach the same level.  I was super chuffed when I found out about my nomination and I’m still pinching myself.

There are so many talented photographers out there and, although I didn’t win, being selected to submit my portfolio was such an honour. We all love a little pat on the shoulder and this nomination felt like that for me.  As Daddy Pig says, ‘It’s not about the winning but the taking part’.

Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars Finalist

Not winning is definitely not a failure, it’s a big moment in my career. I’m a very humble person and I don’t like to brag about myself but, when I look back to where I started I do feel very proud of what I have managed to achieve. From wonky and overexposed photos to timeless images that my brides and grooms will cherish forever. It was a very bumpy ride with a lot of ups and downs but so worth it. Big Thank you to all my couples who had faith in me, I would never be here without you guys <3

There will be a couple of exciting announcements later this year, I cannot wait to share the news with you all but for now, huge congratulations to all who got nominated – you rock! Cannot wait to see the list of final 30!

It was a great experience to look through my images and think about them again. Quite tough to pick my fav 30, here they are, enjoy!
