Henry and Nisa's West Reservoir Centre Wedding

West Reservoir Centre Wedding

I'm super excited about sharing this story as it will be a bit different, for those who follow my work know how much I love colour and it really shows in my photos. This West Reservoir Centre Wedding in North London is all in black and white. For some reason as I was editing this set I totally fell in love with that vintage look. I absolutely love Nisa's style, they both looked so damn cool.

The ceremony took place at Stoke Newington Town Hall in Hackney, a well known London registry office with awesome interiors. We also had pretty cool light that day which made it even more special. After a very touching ceremony and a few group shots we made our way to West Reservoir. I remember when I saw this place for the first time, I was super keen to shoot there and it definitely didn't disappoint. Such unique, raw interiors work just perfect as a wedding reception. I can't wait to go back already!

Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography Nomination

Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography Nomination

All photographers who have been shooting long enough are familiar with the Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography competition. One of the biggest acknowledgements in the industry. Years ago, when I started my adventure with wedding photography, I  never would have dreamt about anything like it. I remember admiring the stunning photos of those who had won and hoped that one day my photography would reach the same level.  I was super chuffed when I found out about my nomination and I'm still pinching myself.

There are so many talented photographers out there and, although I didn't win, being selected to submit my portfolio was such an honour. We all love a little pat on the shoulder and this nomination felt like that for me.  As Daddy Pig says, 'It's not about the winning but the taking part'.

Rangefinder 30 Rising Stars Finalist

Not winning is definitely not a failure, it's a big moment in my career. I'm a very humble person and I don't like to brag about myself but, when I look back to where I started I do feel very proud of what I have managed to achieve. From wonky and overexposed photos to timeless images that my brides and grooms will cherish forever. It was a very bumpy ride with a lot of ups and downs but so worth it. Big Thank you to all my couples who had faith in me, I would never be here without you guys <3

There will be a couple of exciting announcements later this year, I cannot wait to share the news with you all but for now, huge congratulations to all who got nominated - you rock! Cannot wait to see the list of final 30!

It was a great experience to look through my images and think about them again. Quite tough to pick my fav 30, here they are, enjoy!

Barry and Sonya's wedding shoot at Rosewood Hotel London

Rosewood London Weddings

Sonya and Barry got married a few months back in September. We had a super lovely day full of fun and laughter but unfortunately it was pouring down all day and we didn't manage to get many outdoor photos. Barry and Sonya decided it would be a good idea to get together once again and do something cool. Wedding Photographer Rosewood Hotel. I was very much up for it as I really wanted to explore Rosewood Hotel. So many great little spots for wedding photography. It was awesome to see them again, we took some cool shots on the famous staircase and I'm very happy to share few of my favorites. If you want to check out their cool wedding at Yacht London click here. Big thanks to Bart for helping out and keeping me company! Enjoy!

Dan and Gemma's Hawksmoor wedding in London

Wedding Photographer Hawksmoor

I have absolutely loved working with Dan and Gemma, their wedding was just amazing. This London wedding venue is perfect for any Wedding Photographer Hawksmoor. As with every wedding, there is always a story to be told. It turned out that at the last minute they found out that it was also  the Lord Mayor's Day. It's a celebration of the Mayor of The City of London, each year the show attracts a big audience, the procession involves 7000 participants, 200 horses and over 150 floats that make a walk from the big Mansion House, via St Pauls Cathedral, Royal Courts and back to the Mansion House. What it meant for us? Closed roads and access to the venue just by public transport. Fun times!

Gemma was getting ready for her London wedding at Apex Hotel just moments away from their cool venue - Hawksmoor Guildhall and Dan was with his boys at South Place Hotel. The ceremony took place at 2pm and after a few formals and an awesome outdoor shoot, we went back in for a delicious meal, epic speeches and a lot of dancing! These two look like movie stars and I'm so happy to share this wedding photography blog!  Big thanks to Bart for helping out with creating this awesome photos! Enjoy!

Barry and Sonya's London Boat Wedding

The Yacht London Wedding

I will never forget Barry and Sonya's Yacht London Wedding. After an entire week of beautiful sunshine, Saturday came and it rained all day long. Although it was a super wet and moody day, the atmosphere on the boat was quite special. Most of the guests traveled from Ireland and Scotland and we all actually thought they may have brought the weather with them :)

Sonya was getting ready at London's famous -Rosewood Hotel. I love the ground level corridor and of course the stunning staircase! This place has amazing potential for every London wedding photographer. The ceremony took place at The Yacht London - yes on the boat! It was so funny and emotional. We tried to sneak out for a few quick minutes to take some photos, but we got super wet and didn't really manage that much! After rather well prepared and hilarious speeches we had some good food and then the party kicked off! The dance floor was packed and everyone had a fantastic time, it's all about the people and not the weather! Sonya and Barry thank you for choosing me to capture your Big Day!

Kevin and Nanette's pre wedding shoot in Hampstead

Wedding Photographer Pergola Gardens

It's always lovely to come back to this amazing location, especially on a day with such great light. Pergola Gardens in Hampstead is a really popular place for all types of shoots, but mainly weddings and engagements. They have a unique atmosphere and are simply a perfect backdrop for any wedding photographer pergola gardens . Kevin and Nanette are getting married next year at the Burgh House and wanted to do their pre wedding shoot in this area. We had a fantastic evening exploring this awesome spot just before the sunset. Such a shame that they closed the gate at 6:45pm, not enough time! Here are a few of my favourite frames, enjoy!

Stuart and Philippa's engagement shoot at Borough Market

Engagement shoot Borough Market

Borough market is probably one of the most famous food markets in London or if not in the whole UK. Really unique location, very busy from early morning hours. Something a little bit different for an engagement shoot. Stuart and Philippa visit the market quite often and thought It will be a good idea to do their engagement shoot there. Im always up for a fun and exciting shoot in new places and this definitely was a rather funky spot for photography. Glad we had an early start as this place turns into a real madness once all the stores are open. Here is a few of my favorite photos from that day. Enjoy!

Best of Engagements 2015

It is that time of year to look through all the photos and pick the favourites. 2015 was an incredible year for me, I met amazing couples and it was such a pleasure to be a part of their Big Days. I always encourage everyone to book an engagement shoot with me, it really makes a huge difference and changes the way people feel about being photographed. I have written a couple of really handy blog posts that explain why its worth having an e-shoot and how to make the most out of it. Make sure you check it out if you are considering having one with your london wedding photographer. I absolutely love doing the pre wedding shoot, it's great to  spend some relaxed time with my couples and have fun with taking photos. A lot of people have never been photographed by a professional wedding photographer london before so this experience really helps to get used to the big camera. Once you see the photos from your engagement shoot, all the anxiety and stress is gone and you will look forward to having your photos taken on the wedding day. I have shot all over the UK to create these photos at a variety of different locations in London. One of the highlights this year was working with Stella and Michael at Tate Britain, such an incredible space with amazing potential for any wedding photographer in london. Big thank you to Kevin + Nicola and Kevin + Natalie for allowing me to film their shoot, without you guys I would never have such a cool video, make sure you visit my About me page to check it out!

Once again thank you all for having faith and trust in me, can't wait to see what 2016 will bring! Enjoy the photos, Voyteck

Miles and Queenie's wedding at Fulham Palace

Fulham Palace Wedding

Miles and Queenie got married at Fulham Palace which is located just minutes away from Putney Bridge. Its a stunning venue with beautiful grounds and perfectly renovated interiors. Ideal spot for any London wedding photographer to create great photographs. Every single wedding I shoot is very important to me, but there is always a little bit of extra excitement when the couple who recommended me for the wedding, were actually my clients a couple of years earlier! Frankie and Arlen it was lovely to see you! :) Not to mention the amazing Spanish video duo Angel and Taiba - can't wait to see the clip! We all had a lovely day (maybe just a little bit cold, hahaha actually freezing!) and I'm really happy to share this beautiful wedding here. Big thank you to Tom Robak for helping out on the day, always good to work with you! Miles and Queenie thank you very much for choosing Voyteck Photography to be your London wedding photographer!
